I think many of the perceptions people hold about MyDD are based on the disproportionately large amount of comments, diaries and rec's produced by a very small group of coordinated bloggers. Their success in this is actually pretty impressive.
but as other DD told me, that there is actually a overwhelming, silent majority.
They are a small, but VOCAL minority. The vast majority of the site is not full of dead-enders.
